Mariner’s compass pattern is from “Mariner’s Compass Quilts: Setting a New Course” by Judy Mathieson. The woven fabric backround technique is from “Simply Stunning Woven Quilts” by Anna Faustino.

I took the class with  Pat Campbell in 1999 at Cozy Corner. When I found out she designed the “Fossil Fern” fabrics I kept chanting in my head “I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy…” I was a newer quilter being taught by a master!

I taught this as a class and made this during my time at Cozy Corner in Scotch Plains, NJ.  Fabrics are Asian-inspired.
